Diary of a Weird Kid
A Plant's Story
As a garden enthusiast for the past 7 years, and low-key amateur scientist, I have come to realize how closely our lives mirror that of plant life. I am someone who has always had a very curious nature, as my parents can attest. I was the kid who always brought home random animals to tame, to save, to you-name-it! Yes, I proudly admit to have always been a bit weird. Actually, it is this very aspect of myself, the self that is curious and always questioning life, that has taken me through an amazing journey of self-awareness and discovery.
I became attracted to plant life in my 20s. It doesn't take long before one realizes there is both a science and an art to proper gardening. There is an art to creating happy, thriving plants and a science to their growth and survival. Through the understanding of a plant's story to a successful bloom, we can understand the components within ourselves that could use those same strategies for artful cultivation. These concepts, if applied to our own self-care regime for our mind-body-soul, could promote growth and maybe even blooms! I believe our soul is in bloom when we reach our highest vibration and best potential.

“A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.” James Allen - As A Man Thinketh
