Philippines | Balikbayan Box
Location: Lower Mabuhay Village, Philippines
We are happy to announce that our February 2020 Balikbayan box has arrived in the village. This box included children's clothing, women's clothing, men's clothing, shoes, household tools, books, hair products, puzzles, art supplies, snacks and candy, and a lot of canned meat! The canned meat, or spam, is a village favorite.
This balikbayan box took much longer than anticipated to arrive. Typical timing of shipping is 2 months. I'm sure the current pandemic played a role in the long shipping duration. However, we are satisfied that it did arrive. Everyone is happy and doing well. We are already preparing for the next balikbayan shipment. Until next time!!
